SCATTERING ASHES
From our base on the flowing river at Barrow upon Soar, we take up to 12 people on a boat to the Environment Agency approved location where you can scatter the ashes of your loved one.
We operate this service all year from 9am to 4pm (Winter) and 9am to 5pm (summer).
ABOUT THE SERVICE
We have an all weather pontoon boat which has facilities for those of the Hindu and Sikh faiths although this service is available to people of any faith or none.
The boat carries up to 12 people. For larger families we can use more than 1 boat subject to availability.
The ceremony will last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.Only organic materials to be placed in the water. A respectful, dignified service is assured.
